Orders & delivery

Buying on Wulo

How do I track my order?

Open the app and go to your active orders. The status updates as the seller works through it, and you'll be notified as your delivery gets close.

If notifications aren't arriving, check that Do Not Disturb is off and that Wulo is allowed to notify you in Android settings. That accounts for most reports.

I need to cancel. Can I?

Yes, for a short window after placing it and only while the seller hasn't accepted yet — the cancel option appears on the order itself.

Once a seller has accepted, they may already be packing or travelling, so cancelling becomes a conversation. Message them and explain. Most will understand; they'd rather know now than arrive to a refused delivery.

The seller hasn't accepted my order

Sellers are running real shops and can't always respond instantly. If it's been a while, message them — a question about an order usually gets a faster answer than the order itself.

Orders don't stay open indefinitely, so you're never left waiting on one forever.

What arrived is wrong, damaged, or not what was listed

Raise it with the seller at the door if you can — that is by far the fastest resolution, and most sellers will sort it on the spot.

If that fails, contact us with your order number and photographs. We can review the order record, contact the seller, remove the listing and suspend the account where it's warranted.

Being straight with you: we cannot refund you, because Wulo never held your money — you paid the seller directly. What we can do is act on the seller. Reporting matters even when it doesn't get your money back, because repeated complaints get sellers removed.

How do I pay?

Directly to the seller, on terms you agree with them. Wulo does not process payments and never asks for card or bank details.

Treat any request for card details inside the app as fraud and report it to us immediately.

Why is my feed empty or very thin?

Your feed only contains sellers whose delivery range reaches you. A sparse feed means there aren't many Wulo sellers near your pin yet — not that the app is broken.

Check the area you've set is right. And if you know shops nearby that should be on here, point them at us — that's how coverage grows.

My listing isn't showing to buyers

Usually one of three things:

  • It's taken down rather than live. Only live items are visible to buyers.
  • You're a new seller awaiting review. First listings from a new account are checked before going live.
  • Your delivery range doesn't reach them. A buyer outside it will never see you, by design.

If none of those fit, tell us and we'll look.

How do I change my delivery range?

In your seller profile. Change it as often as you like — it takes effect for buyers shortly afterwards.

A range you can genuinely service beats an ambitious one. Late deliveries earn bad ratings faster than a small range loses you sales.

Something sold out — do I delete the listing?

No. Take it down instead. It stops showing to buyers and loses nothing: photos, price and description all stay put, ready for when you restock.

I moved my shop. How do I update my address?

Update the selling address in your profile. Every distance is measured from it, so changing it changes which buyers can see you.

Your listings come with you — changing address never hides your own stock.

How do I get the verified tick?

The blue tick means we've confirmed a real physical business behind the account. Email support@wulo.app from your registered address with your business name, trading address, and registration details if you have them.

It cannot be bought, and it is entirely separate from sponsored placement.

What does it cost to sell?

Nothing. No listing fee, no monthly charge, no commission on sales. You keep what the buyer pays you.

The one optional cost is sponsored placement, if you want a listing pushed up nearby feeds. It's always labelled as paid.

I'm not getting notifications

Work down this list — it's ordered by how often each one turns out to be the cause:

  1. Do Not Disturb. By far the most common. Check it's off.
  2. Android notification permission. Settings → Apps → Wulo → Notifications.
  3. Battery optimisation. Aggressive power saving can stop background delivery. Exclude Wulo.
  4. Sign out and back in. This re-registers your device with our servers.

Still nothing? Tell us which phone and Android version you're on.

I've forgotten my password

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen and follow the steps sent to your registered email. If that address is no longer reachable, contact us and we'll verify you another way.

Can I use Wulo without an account?

You can browse your neighbourhood feed freely. Anything that involves another real person needs an account, so there's someone accountable behind it.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. It's immediate.

Lost access to the app? Use the deletion request form, which also sets out exactly what's removed and what's kept.

Staying safe on Wulo
  • Keep conversations in the app. In-app messages are a record; WhatsApp messages are not.
  • Never share card, bank or OTP details. No genuine Wulo seller and no Wulo employee will ever ask for them.
  • Be wary of pressure to pay in full before anything is dispatched, especially for a high-value item from a new seller.
  • Meet sensibly. A doorstep or a public spot, in daylight, is fine. You are never obliged to let anyone in.
  • Report it. If a seller or buyer behaves badly, tell us. We can suspend accounts, and patterns get acted on.

In an emergency, contact the Nigeria Police on 112 first. Then tell us.

What data does Wulo hold about me?
